Shelly Zhou (周子渲)
Hong Kong University of Science and Technology
Shelly (Zixuan) Zhou is a third-year PhD student in environmental science, policy and management under the supervision of Professor Eun-Soon Im. She focuses on regional climate modelling and the impact assessment of compound hot and dry extremes. Shelly is also interested in how these two climate extremes will affect the power sector, particularly renewable energy supply and demand under different future scenarios. Her research aims to provide reliable projections of future climate and offer science-based evidence for climate mitigation and adaptation.
