Shelly Zhou (周子渲)
Hong Kong University of Science and Technology
I am Zixuan Zhou (Shelly), currently a third-year PhD student majoring in Environmental Science, Policy, and Management. My supervisor is Prof. Eun-Soon Im.  I focus on regional climate modeling and impact assessment of compound hot and dry extremes. I am also interested in how these two climate extremes will affect the power sector, especially renewable energy demand and supply under different future scenarios. My research outputs aim at providing a reliable projection of future climate and offering science-based evidence for climate mitigation and adaptation. Thrilled to learn from other modellers or engineers that revolutionize the weather forecast and climate prediction, I hope I could gain valuable insights from the professionals.
