Yaning Wang (王雅宁)
Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou)
I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou), building upon a solid foundation in Atmospheric Sciences obtained from Nanjing University. My primary research areas include extreme precipitation and climate change, with a particular focus on the application of artificial intelligence in weather forecasting and climate prediction. Through my involvement in various research projects, I have honed my analytical and computational skills to better understand climate change. I am dedicated to advancing our understanding of climate change and extreme events and contributing to the development of more accurate predictive models.
His current research interests include atmospheric water vapor monitoring, Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP), data assimilation, and Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) positioning.
