Songchen Li is a junior student in the School of Atmospheric Physics at Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology. His previous research focused on improving tropical cyclone forecasts using machine learning methods, with the work nearly complete and expected to be published soon. In addition, Songchen provides technical and computational support to Assoc. Prof. Wang in his recent research projects, contributing significantly to data analysis and visualisation. His current research interests include tropical cyclone forecasting and enhancing numerical model results with advanced machine learning techniques. He is passionate about leveraging AI to solve complex atmospheric problems and aim to pursue a career in atmospheric science research.
