Shuaiqi Tang is an associate professor in the Department of Atmospheric Sciences at Nanjing University. His primary efforts focus on bridging the gap between atmospheric observations and numerical modelling. Specifically, he transforms detailed field observations into value-added products that can be easily used to drive or evaluate climate models. Shuaiqi's research interests include objective data analysis of field campaign data, and understanding aerosol, cloud, convection, and precipitation processes, as well as aerosol–cloud interactions, from both observational and modelling perspectives. His ultimate goal is to improve the performance of current and next-generation climate models.
