Shiyun Liu (刘诗韵)
University of Hong Kong
Shiyun Liu is an engineering PhD candidate at The University of Hong Kong. Her main research objective is urban aerodynamics using large-eddy simulations (LES) to resolve multi-scale tree canopy dynamics. She also conducts wind tunnel experiments to supplement the coupling effect of urban green infrastructure (UGI) and street canyons on momentum transport. Her post-processing of wake turbulence focuses on scale recognition using modal decomposition methods. Previously, during her master's degree, Shiyun investigated indoor thermal environments and pollutant dispersion.
