I am a second-year doctoral student at the Department of Earth System Science, Tsinghua University. My name is Sun Sencan. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Atmospheric Science from Nanjing University and have a solid grasp of important AI algorithms. I interned at a company specialising in AI weather algorithms and wrote the first draft of my first paper during my first year of graduate studies (currently under revision). Through a first-year PhD student, I am driven to harness the power of AI to enhance the forecasting capabilities for extreme weather events!In the future, I hope to collaborate with like-minded peers to advance the application of AI in weather prediction.
