Javaid has received B.Sc. in Electronics and Communication Engineering and M.Sc. in Energy Engineering degrees from University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore. He has worked as an Electrical testing engineer for Energy Meters from 2009 to 2012. He has been working as Lecturer in the Electrical Engineering department with SCET from 2012-2014 and with University of Gujrat since 2014. He is pursuing PhD in Electronics and Computer Engineering from HKUST. His research focuses on Machine Learning for optimization, Load Forecasting, EDA and Smart Power Networks.
