Ho Ching Lee (李皓澄)
Hong Kong University of Science and Technology
Ho Ching Lee is a first-year PhD student in the Department of Ocean Science at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Interested in both Earth science and computational science, he applies computational methods — such as numerical modelling and machine learning — to study Earth-science-related problems. Ho Ching's current research interests involve ocean and coastal numerical modelling in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area, alongside using the adjoint method for ocean-related optimization and inversion problems, including sea state inversion, parameter optimization, and the shape optimization of engineering structures.
