Dengxin He is an engineer at the Institute of Heavy Rain, China Meteorological Administration, in Wuhan. She is also pursuing a PhD at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where her research focuses on assimilating satellite-retrieved precipitable water vapour. Dengxin's work concentrates on numerical weather prediction, data assimilation, and the mechanisms behind extreme precipitation.
