Xiaomeng Li’s research lies in the interdisciplinary areas of artificial intelligence and medical image analysis, aiming at advancing healthcare with machine intelligence. Specifically, she works on making machine learning more reliable, human-compatible, and statistically rigorous, and is especially interested in applications in healthcare. Before joining the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, she was a postdoctoral research fellow at Stanford University. She obtained her PhD from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
