Hui Su
Global STEM Professor, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology
Hui Su obtained her BSc from Peking University and then her PhD degree in atmospheric sciences from the University of Washington. She was a principal scientist and weather discipline programme manager at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) before joining the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She received the NASA Exceptional Scientific Achievement Medal in 2010 and again in 2022, as well as a number of awards at JPL. She is an editor of Geophysical Research Letter and a fellow of the American Meteorological Society. Her research interests are primarily in tropical convection and climate change.
