Jinshi Xu
Professor, School of Physics, University of Science and Technology of China

Jinshi Xu is a professor in School of Physics, University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). Xu received his PhD from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2009 and was awarded the National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award. He is currently a full professor and doctoral supervisor at USTC. His research focuses on experimental quantum information science and quantum physics based on optical and solid-state spin systems. He is a recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and has received the Second Prize of the National Natural Science Award of China. He is also a Fellow of the Chinese Optical Society and currently serves as Deputy Director of the Anhui Provincial Key Laboratory of Quantum Network.
