The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology
Yuk Ho Lo is a PhD student from HKUST. His Research interests focus on the nitrogen-vacancy (NV) color centers in diamond for advanced quantum sensing and quantum computing applications. By leveraging the unique spin and optical properties of NV centers, one can employ laser-based techniques to achieve high-precision sensing of magnetic fields, electric fields, and temperature. At the same time, it is also possible to develop scalable approaches for quantum information processing and coherent control in diamond-based quantum devices.
