Apple Chen is a final-year physics undergraduate at HKUST (expected June 2026), currently working in Professor Yang Sen’s Quantum Sensing group. Her research interests include astronomical observation and optical telescopes – from ray-tracing simulations to telescope instrumentation – aiming to explore high-efficiency photon collection in both quantum optics and astrophysical imaging.
