Yingtao Sun is a PhD candidate in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, under the supervision of Professor Zhigang Li. His research focuses on freezing desalination, interfacial transport phenomena and molecular simulations of water, ice and ion behaviour. He has published research in journals including Physical Review Fluids, Physics of Fluids and Desalination.
