Muya Cai received a PhD from Wuhan University in 2025, following bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Northeastern University, China, in 2019 and 2022. He is a postdoctoral researcher at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where he focuses on electrochemical extraction and separation, sustainable resource recovery and materials recycling. His research integrates electrochemistry and materials science to develop efficient and scalable technologies for green energy. He has published seven first-author SCI-indexed papers.
