Hui Ma is a distinguished professor at Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, where she has worked since 2024. She received her PhD from East China University of Science and Technology in 2019 under the supervision of Professor Yitao Long. She subsequently conducted postdoctoral research at Nanjing University and then worked there as an associate researcher from 2019 to 2024. Her research focuses on nanopore-based single-molecule analysis and nanoelectrochemistry. Her work appears in leading journals, including Nature Communications, Journal of the American Chemical Society, Angewandte Chemie International Edition and Chemical Science. She holds several nationally funded research grants, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Original Exploration Program project on nanopore-based glycan sequencing, the NSFC Young Scientists Fund and the Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. She also serves as a young editorial board member of VIEW, a journal published by Wiley.
