Haofeng Peng is a PhD student in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. His previous research focused on ion transport in solid-state batteries, particularly how lithium ions move through solid electrolytes. His research interests are now broadening to the more general problem of ion transport and mass transfer, and he hopes to understand how ions move and interact with their surroundings in different systems.
