I am a Chair Professor in the Department of Statistics and Data Science at the Southern University of Science and Technology and the Director of the Big Data Innovation Center. I am a Nationally Distinguished Expert and have received the Second Prize of the National Natural Science Award. I am also a Changjiang Scholar Chair Professor appointed by the Ministry of Education and a recipient of the Second Prize of the Ministry of Education’s Natural Science Award for Universities.

I am a Fellow of the American Statistical Association (ASA Fellow), a Fellow of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics (IMS Fellow), and an Elected Member of the International Statistical Institute (ISI Elected Member). Additionally, I serve as the Chairman of the Multivariate Analysis Committee of the Chinese Society for Applied Statistics.

I have served as an associate editor for several international academic journals. My research interests span probability and statistics, econometrics, network data, machine learning, and related areas. I have published over one hundred papers in top journals and conferences across the fields of probability and statistics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

With extensive experience in industry collaborations, I have been honored with the Huawei Spark Award and the Huawei Excellent Collaborative Achievement Award.
