Zhitian Hou (侯智天)

Zhitian Hou is a master’s student at Sun Yat-sen University, specialising in Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Large Language Models (LLMs). His research focuses on the development, fine-tuning, and evaluation of multimodal medical LLMs, particularly analysing their reasoning capabilities and how dataset quality impacts performance in complex multimodal question-answering tasks. Zhitian has published multiple papers on topics such as fine-tuning multimodal medical LLMs, text hashing, legal judgment prediction using LLMs, and mortality prediction for COVID-19 patients with structured clinical data. He is also interested in enhancing the interpretability and robustness of LLMs in real-world applications. His work reflects a strong interdisciplinary approach, bridging AI, healthcare, and law to address critical challenges in these domains.
