Yucheng Guo (果煜程)
Hong Kong Polytechnic University
Yucheng Guo is a PhD student in the Department of Building and Real Estate at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Building Electricity and Intelligence and his master’s degree in architecture from Tongji University in 2022 and 2025, respectively. In 2024, he also studied abroad at RWTH Aachen University in Germany. Yucheng’s research focuses on sustainable cities and buildings, building energy performance, and the application of renewable energy in building systems. He is currently involved in assessing the energy performance of existing buildings and developing renovation plans based on life cycle benefits. Additionally, he utilizes artificial intelligence for analysis and decision-making to optimize building energy efficiency and sustainability.
