Yongyi Luo (罗咏怡)

Yongyi Luo is a PhD candidate in Statistics at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), under the supervision of Professor Fan Xiaodan. Her research interests lie in statistical inference, sequencing data analysis, and healthcare-related topics. She holds a master’s degree from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and a bachelor’s degree from Sichuan University. Throughout her academic journey, Yongyi has engaged with several renowned research institutions, enriching her expertise in advanced data analysis. She is passionate about applying statistical methodologies to derive meaningful insights and solve complex problems, particularly in healthcare. Through her doctoral studies, Yongyi aims to contribute to the advancement of statistical methods and their impactful applications in improving human well-being.
