Xiangmeng Wang

Xiangmeng Wang is a research assistant professor in the Department of Computing at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Xiangmeng received her PhD in computer science from the University of Technology Sydney, where she conducted research under the supervision of Professor Guandong Xu, and also holds an MSc in Computer Application Technology from Shanghai University. Her primary research interests include explainable artificial intelligence, data analysis, and causal machine learning. Xiangmeng’s work aims to make complex machine learning models more transparent and interpretable, enhancing trust and understanding in AI systems. She has published her research in leading conferences and journals such as WWW, SIGIR, TKDE, and TOIS. Xiangmeng is passionate about developing new methodologies that bridge the gap between advanced machine learning techniques and practical, real-world applications.
