Shuxiu Jia is currently a second-year undergraduate student majoring in Computer Science at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). He has a strong interest in artificial intelligence research and is currently engaged in research under PolyU's Undergraduate Research and Innovation Scheme (URIS). His work focuses on AI-driven approaches to materials discovery and characterization, including the development of machine learning models for predicting material properties, accelerating experimental design, and enhancing data analysis in materials science research. In addition to his research, Shuxiu is eager to learn about the latest advancements in AI as he explores his future academic career. He is committed to furthering his studies through a PhD program.
