Shuo Su (苏硕)

Shou Su is a fourth-year PhD student in mechanical engineering at the Design and Manufacturing Futures Lab, University of Bristol, working under Professors Aydin Nassehi and Ben Hicks. His research focuses on digital twin technologies for manufacturing processes, encompassing areas such as geometric and physical simulation, information modeling and analysis of manufacturing processes, cost modeling of digital twins, and evaluation dimensions in digital twins. Shou has published five top-tier journal papers in this field, including articles in the Journal of Manufacturing Systems (JMS), Robotics and Computer-Integrated Manufacturing (RCIM), and the Journal of Intelligent Manufacturing (JIM). He is also very interested in integrating advanced AI technologies to help realize the vision of smart manufacturing.
