Mingjin Zhang is a research assistant professor at the Department of Computing at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Prior to this position, he was a postdoctoral fellow in the same department. Mingjin obtained his BEng degree in Communication Engineering from Wuhan University of Technology in 2019 and completed his PhD in Computer Science at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2024. He has also been a visiting PhD student at the Department of Computer Science and Technology at the University of Cambridge in 2023. His research interests include edge computing, collaborative edge AI, the Internet of Things (IoT), and distributed machine learning.
