Menghua Zhang
Chinese University of Hong Kong
Menghua Zhang is currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Statistics and Data Science at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). Her research focuses on the statistical foundations of machine learning, particularly developing methodologies to integrate diverse datasets for improved performance on target tasks. Menghua has conducted several studies on semi-supervised learning and transfer learning, addressing challenges such as limited labeled data and domain adaptation. Recently, she has been exploring the potential of large language models (LLMs) to solve multi-dataset problems while investigating statistical explanations for their underlying mechanisms. She is passionate about interdisciplinary collaborations at the intersection of statistics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
