Hongjin WU (吴泓晋)

Hongjin Wu earned his bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Wuhan University of Technology in 2021 and his master's degree in the same field from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He is currently pursuing a PhD in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) at Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His research interests encompass intelligent manufacturing, computer-aided design, and computer-aided process planning, with a growing focus on human-robot collaboration. He explores synergies between human expertise and robotic capabilities to advance applications in both industrial and service sectors. Future work will investigate adaptive interaction frameworks, real-time intent recognition, and safety protocols to facilitate seamless human-robot teamwork in dynamic, unstructured environments.
