Yang Yu is an incoming PhD student in Computing at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where he currently serves as a research assistant. His research focuses on cutting-edge AI technologies, including multimodal learning, large language models (LLMs), LLM-based agents, and reinforcement learning. Passionate about advancing intelligent systems, Yang aims to explore how multimodal integration and adaptive agents can enhance human-AI collaboration. He has been actively involved in projects that bridge theoretical frameworks with real-world applications. With a strong foundation in machine learning and a problem-solving mindset, he aspires to contribute to open-ended learning, agent autonomy, and scalable AI solutions. Beyond research, Yang enjoys interdisciplinary discussions and staying updated on emerging trends in AI.
