Zhizhuo Kou

Zhizhuo Kou is a PhD student in artificial intelligence at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, supervised by Provost Prof Yike Guo, focusing on Large Language Models (LLMs) and their applications in finance. He holds a BBA (Hons) in Financial Services from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, an MSc in Information Systems Management from HKUST, and an MPhil in Data Science & Analytics from HKUST (Guangzhou) under Prof Lei Chen. His research explores automated quantitative investment strategies using LLMs, with publications in top-tier venues such as ACL, ICML, and EMNLP. Key works include "Automate Strategy Finding with LLM in Quant Investment" and "FinMME: A Financial Multi-Modal Evaluation Dataset." Zhizhuo has received prestigious awards, including the 2023 Hong Kong Fintech Award and HSBC Fintech Olympiad Silver Award, showcasing his expertise in integrating AI technologies with financial applications.
