Yang Yishu
Postdoctoral Fellow, Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, Hong Kong Polytechnic University

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, specializing in supply chain management, data analytics, and large language models (LLMs). I hold a Ph.D. in Engineering from The University of Hong Kong, where I developed expertise in interdisciplinary research bridging operations optimization and AI-driven decision-making. My research focuses on innovative applications of LLMs and intelligent algorithms in vertical industries, such as aviation and apparel manufacturing, with the goal of enhancing operational efficiency and strategic planning. I have contributed to multiple cross-institutional research projects, with publications in top-tier journals, and maintain a strong focus on translating academic insights into practical industrial solutions. Currently, my work investigates adaptive AI solutions for complex business environments, including predictive analytics and supply chain automation. Through collaborations with industry partners, I aim to bridge the gap between theoretical research and real-world implementation.
