Nicolas Regnault

Nicolas Regnault received his Ph.D. at the Institut de Physique Théorique du Commissariat à l'énergie atomique (CEA) Saclay in 2001 and then worked as a teaching assistant at the Université Paris VI (2001-2002) and at the Ecole Normale Supérieure (2001-2002). Regnault is a CNRS permanent researcher (Chargé de Recherches from 2003 to 2015, Directeur de Recherches DR2 from 2015-2023, Directeur de Recherches DR1 since 2023). He is also a Research scientist at the Flatiron Institute, Simons Foundation from 2024 to 2025. He received the CNRS bronze medal in 2010, and was elected fellow of American Physical Society in 2024.
