Zuzhang Lin (林祖涨)
University of Hong Kong
Zuzhang Lin is currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Physics at the University of Hong Kong. Throughout his doctoral studies and much of his postdoctoral research, he has focused on two-dimensional materials and light-matter interactions, primarily within the single-particle framework, utilizing computational physics methods.
Recently, Zuzhang has developed a strong interest in fractional quantum Hall physics, particularly in emergent many-body phenomena and topological states of matter. This new direction has inspired him to deepen his understanding of strongly correlated electron systems and quantum entanglement. He has recently made significant contributions to the study of fractional Chern insulators in isolated flat bands with zero Chern number.
His goal is to bridge his background in computational and theoretical physics with fundamental studies of correlated phenomena, providing new theoretical insights into fractional Chern insulators in condensed matter physics.
