It is Yunwei Sheng, finished the PhD at Institute of Materials Science of Barcelona, Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), supervised by Josep Fontcuberta and Ignasi Fina. The main research line was ferroelectric photovoltaic oxides. Currently I am working as a postdoc doing 2D topological insulators/superconductor/magnetic heterostructures in Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, supervised by Jiannong Wang. My background enriches my research experience on ferroelectrics, photovoltaics, oxides, semiconductors and 2D quantum materials, based on which I would like to continue doing functional devices based on thin films of ferroelectric and multiferroic materials, or 2D ferroelectric/magnetic heterostructures, for use from communications to low-power electric- and magnetic-field sensing to energy efficiency/storage/conversion.
