Yueyang Wang
University of Hong Kong
Yueyang Wang is a PhD student at the Department of Physics at the University of Hong Kong (HKU). He works under the supervision of Professor Donekeun Ki. His research combines nanofabrication techniques to create well-defined quantum devices with low-temperature measurements, magnetic fields, and displacements to study quantum Hall effects and other novel quantum phenomena induced by interlayer interactions in graphene-based moiré structures. Prior to his PhD at the University of Hong Kong, Yueyang earned a masters in science in Nanomaterials from the University of Manchester. In addition to his research in physics, he is passionate about science communication and actively mentor undergraduates.
