Yuanda Liao (廖元达)
University of Hong Kong
My main research interests lie in the theoretical and numerical investigation of quantum many-body physics, including quantum phase transitions, quantum critical behavior, and exotic topological states in strongly correlated fermionic systems and quantum magnetism. I employ a range of computational techniques such as quantum Monte Carlo methods, exact diagonalization, and others. I am currently a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at the University of Hong Kong. I look forward to learning about the latest developments in fractional Chern insulators (FCIs) at this workshop and to connecting with new colleagues. Please feel free to reach out for a discussion at any time. More details about my research and credentials can be found on my personal website: https://quantummc.xyz/yuanda-liao/.
