Yizhou Wei is currently conducting research in the field of materials science, with a particular focus on microwave impedance microscopy (MIM)–based material characterisation. His primary interest lies in the development, processing, and optimisation of advanced metal powders for MIM-integrated technologies. Specifically, he explores sintering parameters and binder systems to enhance the mechanical properties and dimensional accuracy of complex components. Wei also investigates the microstructural evolution throughout various stages of the MIM process and examines its influence on overall material performance. His work contributes to the advancement of cost-effective, high-performance manufacturing techniques for intricately engineered metal parts utilised in automotive, aerospace, and medical applications. Deeply passionate about materials science, Wei is committed to harnessing its potential to drive innovative engineering solutions.
