Yizhou WEI
HongKong University of Science and technology
I am currently engaged in research focused on Microwave impedance microscopy(MIM)-based material studies. My primary interest lies in exploring the development, processing, and characterization of advanced metal powders used in MIM technology. I am particularly interested in optimizing sintering parameters and binder systems to enhance mechanical properties and dimensional accuracy of final components. My work also involves investigating the microstructural evolution during different stages of MIM processing and its correlation with material performance. Through this research, I aim to contribute to the advancement of cost-effective and high-performance manufacturing techniques for complex metal parts used in automotive, aerospace, and medical applications. I am passionate about materials science and its role in shaping innovative engineering solutions.
