Xun Yang (杨迅)
Southern University of Science and Technology
Yang Xun is a third year doctoral student in Professor Haizhou Lu's group of Southern University of Science and Technology. He obtained his bachelor's degree in physics from Chongqing University at 2023. As a newcomer in fractional quantum Hall area, he has acquired basic techniques like exact diagonalization technique and entanglement spectrum. His research focuses on theoretical exploration of fractional quantum Hall effect and fractional Chern insulators. His recent works aims to investigate the interplay between quantum geometry of flat band and electron correlations in severals lattice models and moire superlattice. In this summer course, he seeks theoretical tools, experiment advances, discussions and collaborations.
