Xue-Yang Song (宋雪洋)

Dr Song is an assistant professor in the Department of Physics at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She completed her PhD in physics at Harvard University in 2021, following a BSc in physics from Peking University in 2017. Her academic career includes postdoctoral research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2021 to 2024, supported by a Moore Postdoctoral Fellowship. In 2021, she was secluded for the University of Chicago's Rising Stars in Quantum Physics programme. During her doctoral studies at Harvard, she held both the Peirce and Purcell Fellowships in 2018. she is.interested in strongly correlated systems.
