Xinyu Wang is a fourth-year PhD student in the Department of Physics at the University of Hong Kong, supervised by Dr Dong-Keun Ki. She graduated and obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in physics from the University of California, San Diego before continuing her studies at the University of Hong Kong. Currently, her doctoral research focuses on moiré superlattices and strongly correlated phenomena in two-dimensional materials. Xinyu is particularly interested in the experimental exploration of emergent quantum behaviours in condensed matter systems. She is enthusiastic about attending the conference and eagerly anticipates exchanging ideas with fellow researchers, as well as gaining insights from a broad range of perspectives.
