Wenqi Yang (杨雯淇)
University of Hong Kong
Wenqi Yang is currently a doctoral student in the Department of Physics at HKU. She obtained her bachelor's degree in 2022 from the University of Science and Technology of China and subsequently joined Professor Wang Yao’s research group at HKU to begin her PhD studies. Her research interests focus on the fractional quantum anomalous Hall effect and computational approaches to strongly correlated systems. Yang has developed expertise in a range of numerical techniques, including the density matrix renormalisation group (DMRG), Hartree–Fock mean-field simulations, exact diagonalisation, and others. She is eager to engage with experts in condensed matter physics through academic conferences and actively seeks opportunities for exchange and collaborative research.
