Tingxin Li (李听昕)
Shanghai Jiao Tong Univerisity
Tingxin Li is a tenure-track Associate Professor in the School of Physics and Astronomy at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), a position he has held since June 2021. He received his PhD in Physics from Peking University in 2016, followed by postdoctoral research appointments as a Smalley–Curl Postdoctoral Fellow at Rice University (September 2016 – March 2018) and subsequently at Cornell University (March 2018 – May 2021). His current research focuses on the experimental investigation of emergent quantum phenomena—including the fractional quantum anomalous Hall effect and unconventional superconductivity—in two-dimensional van der Waals materials and their moiré superlattices. His group employs a variety of experimental techniques, encompassing low-temperature transport and optical measurements, alongside device nanofabrication, to uncover and characterise novel quantum states of matter.
