Great Bay University
Shoushu Gong is a theoretical physicist who received his PhD in Theoretical Physics from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2010. He completed postdoctoral training at California State University, Northridge, and the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory in Florida, where he conducted research on quantum spin liquids and fractional quantum Hall effects. Gong subsequently joined the faculty at Beihang University and, in 2023, transitioned to a position at Great Bay University in Dongguan. His research is centred on large-scale numerical investigations of exotic quantum states in strongly correlated electronic systems, including quantum spin liquids and unconventional superconductivity. In recent work, he has focused on superconductivity within the Hubbard and t-J models.
