Qixiao Yuan (袁琦骁)
University of Science and Technology of China
Qixiao Yuan is currently a sophomore undergraduate student at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). Yuan is interested in exploring novel electronic states of matter, such as topological phenomena and unconventional electronic orders. His experimental work centers on investigating Pomeranchuk instabilities within Kagome lattice materials and utilizing Scanning Tunneling Microscopy (STM) methods to probe the electronic properties of magic-angle twisted bilayer graphene. Beyond his experimental pursuits, Yuan is also interested in deepening his understanding of topological order and the fractional Chern insulators. He hopes to learn more about the frontier of fractional Chern insulator study from the lectures.
