Qing Rao (饒青)
University of Hong Kong
Qing Rao is currently a postdoctoral researcher conducting condensed matter experiments at the University of Hong Kong. She completed her undergraduate studies in physics at Southern University of Science and Technology in 2018 and received her PhD in physics from the University of Hong Kong in 2023 under the supervision of Dr Dong-Keun Ki. Her research aims to discover and understand emergent quantum phenomena in low-dimensional quantum material systems using low-temperature electrical transport methods. She has worked on a broad range of topics including moiré materials, spintronics, quantum confinement effects, quantum interferometry, superconductivity, ballistic transport, thermoelectric transport, two-dimensional magnetism, electrolyte-gate spectroscopy, and field-effect transistors.
