I am currently a fourth-year PhD student at NTU Singapore. My research focuses on gaining a deeper understanding of the fractional quantum Hall (FQH) fluid and, more broadly, the properties of two-dimensional electron gases, where strong electron-electron interactions play a crucial role in the emergence of topological phases and the experimental phenomena observed so far.
My work includes studying the nontrivial dynamics of anyons—both in the Laughlin 1/3 state and the non-Abelian Moore-Read state—driven by electron interactions, as well as exploring potential experimental probes for these effects. I also investigate quantum solid phases that compete with the FQH fluid, such as Wigner crystals and bubble phases in higher Landau levels.
