Jiazheng Ma (马嘉政)
City university of Hong Kong
Jiazheng Ma graduated from Sun-Yat Sen University as a Phd student where he majored in theoretical physics. Now he has working as a postdoctoral in Professor Xiao Li's group in CityUHK . His research interest is about twistronics and fractional Chern insulator phase. he has investigated the hydrodynamics effective theory of twisted bilayer graphene (TBG). After that, his interest moves to the many body physics of twistronics. To investigate the fractional Chern insulator candidate with higher Chern number, they have modeled fractional filling twisted bilayer checkerboard lattice by using exact diagonalization (ED) and particle entanglement spectrum (PES). Inspired by recent experiment of tMoTe2, they try to theoretically interpret the impurity and finite temperature effect of tMoTe2.
