Jiaqi Lu (卢嘉祺)

Jiaqi Lu is a third-year undergraduate student at Xi’an Jiaotong University, currently preparing to pursue a PhD under the mentorship of Professor Xu Yang at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. This semester, he is conducting research training with the Feng Group at the University of California, Berkeley. His work centres on the generation and waveguide coupling of terahertz signals, alongside their application in characterising two-dimensional materials. Under Professor Xu Yang's guidance, he is developing an experimental platform for in-situ twisting of bilayer graphene. His primary research interest lies in the optical properties of two-dimensional materials, and he is committed to deepening his understanding through ongoing academic exploration.
