Jiangchang Zheng
Hong Kong University of Science and Technology
Jiangchang Zheng (Andrew) is a doctoral student in Physics at HKUST. His principal research interest lies in employing scanning tunnelling microscopy (STM) to investigate flat band physics—particularly within kagome flat band systems, including the FeSn and CsV₃Sb₅ families, as well as moiré flat band systems such as magic-angle twisted bilayer graphene (MATBG). He is equally captivated by superconducting systems, charge density wave (CDW) phenomena, and defect physics. Through his work, Zheng seeks to advance the understanding of these quantum materials and explore their potential applications. In addition to experimental research, he enjoys capturing and curating high-resolution STM images of various material surfaces.
